Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

I have curly hair, it楹搒 a medium (not too big, not too small).

Hos do you make big curls, without using irons much, if possible?

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

ok girlie, what you need to do it wash and condition your hair very well (this helps with frizzies) after you do that put in some product... mousse would work well... then you want to take a section of hair (how big the curl decides how much hair you put on the curler) and comb it through well... then place it around a large roller(velcro rollers work well and they come in all sizes)when you are done doing your whole head you can either just wait until it dries if you don't want to use damaging heat, or you can blow dry it until it is completely dry... just make sure it is COMPLETELY dry before you take out the rollers!! You will have beautiful bouncy curls and they will last! Be sure and hairspray your curls after you take them all out of the rollers!!

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

you would have to first straighten it with a flat iron and then use a wide barrel curling iron (at least 1 1/2 inches) to curl your hair

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

Try the thick curlers instead of thin ones at these create annoying looking curls.

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

use bigger and much more tougher curls

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

Buy some wide rollers! Then make sure you heat your hair when they are set, and your hair will have big bouncy curls!

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

after washing your hair, blow dry it straight and use a wide barrel curling iron

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

baby girl,i'll curl your hair and your toes

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

Get big rollers and sit under dryer.

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

Try using a gentle flattening spray like avons, now dry gently with dryer, add a little mousse, then using large barrel rollers, roll little finger width lengths of your hair gradually down the whole legth of each individual barell and secure with hair pins, until all your hair is completed, gently dry on cool or very low setting with a diffuser attatched (this helps to not dry out your hair too much.

Allow to sit for at least an hour to let the mousse set.

I can help i am a trusted avon lady!!!!

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

Use big rollers.

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

Try usiing straightners to make bigger curls rap your hair once around the straightner and pull down soz not very good at describiing thiings :s but the moethod im trying to describe usually makes big curls (Y)

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

Try using a volumising shampoo, conditioner, and moose or put in big rollers =)

Hair styling: How do you make big curls?

OK well i have straight hair!!! majorly and when i want to curl my hair i just use a good make hair curler's that are like 230 degrees and curl my hair normally and spray he curls with hairspray super hold and then when I'm done with all of them i tip my head upside done and shake them up out and spray them with hair spray at the same time and then you have big bouncy curly hair!!! (don't shy on the spray) xx

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

well im assuming it was lice... i watched a bug crawl in and out of this girls hair today, fa-eva, and just as i was working up the nerve to say "ma'am, may i pull something from your hair?" 3 more bugs surfaced! i was like, "whoa! i cant fix that big of a problem on a 30 minute bus ride!"

was i rude to not say anything or would it be rude to say, "yo, you got bugs on your head!"

(i had lice as a kid, and am not grossed out by them but i am fixing to jump on a plane to go visit family and would hate to take lice home to a bajillion relatives... not to mention the fact that it took days to get all the lice off me back in third grade cause i have crazy thick hair!!)

so anyways, what would you have done? leaned in close to the nest and whispered her dillemma to her, or walked off wondering if she knew why she couldnt stop scratching her infested head?

no wrong answers, just want oppinions... thanks!

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

damn skippy

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

I would tell him so that he take good care of his hair.

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

I would have jotted it down in a note and then quickly, very quickly, handed it to her and moved away.

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

If she had used enough hair spray a match would take care of it.

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

I would say sumting like u've got gr8 hair...y don't u take better care of it.....other wise lice might infest ur head....if u maintain it well ur hair will look awesome

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

Well, I would have tried to tell her but of course if she is someone I knew. But if she isn't then I don't know. Maybe she knows so I wouldn't feel comfortable saying anything to a complete stranger because maybe she will be hurt or angry or something. If I don't know how to act in such situations I think how would I feel if someone said to me what I want to say to them and then decide whether I should say it or not.

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

i wuda sed... u got sumfin in ur hair n den walked away.

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

cetainly not leaned in close with your thick hair - would have been asking to become host!! No, I think you maybe should have asked if their head itched and when asked reason why, told them you think you can see something crawling about in there and how some tea tree oil might help and loads of conditioner with a comb etc - at least tell her how to get rid, she might not know.

Be prepared for this not to be taken kindly - think about how you would feel on hearing this news - but needs to be said anyway!

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

I would tell family, maybe close friends and students in my class, as they spread like wildfire in primary school, but strangers, you just have to avoid them.

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

If it was somebody I know very well I would tell them, and if it was somebody I didn't know and would probably never see again I would tell them, but the mild aquaintances I would just try and avoid them.

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

tough call, but as a mum with a 9 year old daughter with very long thick hair who had been getting reinfested with monotonous regularity for about 18 months, i would probably have discreetly whispered to the person that you think you may have noticed something in their hair and perhaps they should check when they get home, heads up though, they could get defensive and rude, but hey as you daid it only a 30 minute bus trip lol

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

I had lice once myself. It was a horrible experience. I would have told this person myself.

Would you tell someone if you saw lice crawling in and out of their hair?

No, I would not. If I saw lice crawling out of someone's hair, I'd be back at the other end of the bus/train/etc. in about 3 seconds. I wouldn't wait around forever trying to come up with a nice way of telling them, and risk getting them on me. I don't know how lice travel, but I do know they're very easily spread, and leaning in to tell her she has something crawling in her hair might land you in the same boat she's in.

How to fix your hair?

My boyfriend's familie's wedding is this Friday and I don't know how to style my hair? My hair is naturally curly I was thinking I'd just scrunch it and put it in one of those big fashionable head bands, but it needs to match with what ever color dress I buy. The color head bands I have are Black and White. How would you style your hair, but you don't want to over do it either.

How to fix your hair?

Ilike the headband idea as well but remember...it is formal so you may want to do a little more. I also have naturally curly hair and I pull it back and put a clip in it from the underneath...and some mini clips and/or barretts randomly on the top...holding some curls where you want. you could also wear the headband with it.

I wear my hair like this often and it looks like I went and had it done but it only takes about 5 minutes! And you can even wear it with sweats or something!

good luck and have fun!!

...oh and white goes with everything...not black!

How to fix your hair?

that's a great idea and black goes with anything, so it won't really matter waht color dress you buy!

How to fix your hair?

I like the headband idea. Just match it to either your dress or your shoes.... so if you wear a black dress with red shoes, have the headband be red....not necessarily those colors, but you get the idea!!

How to fix your hair?

Buy your dress first then that will dictate how your hair should be styled. Some dresses look better with hair down while others look better with hair up. In either case if it doesnt go witha black head band most likely it would go with white.

How to fix your hair?

Ask your female relatives or your boyfirend.

How to fix your hair?

i think that sounds good just buy a dress those colors or buy a head band that's the color of your dress it would be cheaper

How to fix your hair?

Do your hair the way you mentioned in the head band thing, either way black will go with everything so go with the black head band. If your hair is very light blonde than go with the white, but black will look best with darker hair.

Any hair tips ???????

Well i have big brown eyes with wavy brown hair, and hair tips to make me stand out???

Any hair tips ???????

buy those soft curlers and sleep in them. it is soooo easy and you save so much time in the morning. you just take them out and only brush the top of your hair otherwise you brush right through the curls. then use hairspray, not mousse. ive found that a great brand of hairspray is matrix hairspray. and for looser, messier curls, you separate each curl in two. it is a more casual, less shirley temple look.

then for waves, sleep in braids. (the number depending on how wavy you want your hair. i would probably recommend about eight or so) then you just take them out in the morning and just brush the top of your hair. you can use hairspray, but i usually dont need it, but then again, my hair holds waves really well......

and if you shower in the morning, scrunch your hair with mousse and it looks pretty good but might get a little frizzy.

and as for just regular hairstyles, i would try sidebangs or whispy bangs instead of thick ones......dont know about the cut i might have to see the shape of your face, sry....

you can also do buns, because they are pretty in, or low pigtails, but you might be a little old for them, but my sister in college looks cute in them so i dont know.....

as for hairbands, very cute and in!!! definitely!!!

u could wear your hair half-up, leaving your bangs down.....

hope i helped!!! good luck!!!

Any hair tips ???????

I'd say stick straight, or big curls. Depends on face shape, and all that though.

Any hair tips ???????

Scrunch your hair.

Any hair tips ???????

Put it in a bun or ponytail, that will make your eyes stand out if you have hair away from your face.

What can I use as a big metal crimp tube for binding hair?

I'm trying to find something much like the metal crimp tubes used to bind the plastic hair for My Little Pony tails. I have many who are missing theirs because they pop out easily when pulled on, revealing that all they did to apply them was

1. cut a piece of hair twice the length of the intended tail piece

2. bind it tightly in the very center with a piece of bendable (and rust-able) metal

3. push the metal tube lengthwise into the hole for the tail and

4. pull the shorter side of the tail even so that the side of the crimp exposed to the hole is too big to fit back through the hole,

like one of those plastic T-shaped tag strings found in most department store clothes as well as stuffed animals and other fabric products. Does anyone know what else I can use to make new tails without damaging the ponies at all?

What can I use as a big metal crimp tube for binding hair?

1) measure the size of one of the holes--use whatever system is dominant in your region (i.e. English system in the US, metric anywhere else).

2) go to the hardware store. Find a piece of tubing that is the same size. It may be marked, it may not, so bring something to measure with you. If they don't have it, ask them to recommend someplace else.

3) Cut the tubing up, after making sure it fits in the hole. Attach the hair inside the tubes--glue would probably work best.

4) insert the hair/tube assembly into the hole. The tube should fit tight enough that the pressure should hold it in.

How do i get big wavy hair?

use warm amla(gooesberry) oil everyday and wash ur hair then dry and comb evenly.

How do i get big wavy hair?

i got a tip from my hairdresser.. after you wash your hair, and when its damp/wet , but not dripping, tie up all your hair in a VERY high ponytail if its long enough,or in two ponytails....... roll each one upward into a tight roll thingy.. and pin it witha few million fat bobby pins. leave it for about an hour , and before you undo it , blow dry it from the side, but not for too long. its gonna come out really curly.. dont brush it too much after...

.. have fun..

How do i get big wavy hair?

As a girl who constantly battles her big wavy hair, I would have to say genetics has alot to do with it! Humidity also helps. If you have bone straight hair, go see your stylist for a body perm or forget about it! We always want what we don't have. Good luck with the do!

How do i get big wavy hair?

i would say curlers,

or you could use the method my sister uses.

she braids her hair in really big braids while her hair is wet at night, and then you sleep on it. in the morning, un-braid your hair, and you should have wavy hair!

Hair salon in San Francisco (great cut/color but not super expensive)???

I need to get my hair highlighted/lowlighted/trimmed in SF %26amp; would love to find a place that can do a great job without being ridiculously expensive. I tried Milvali Salon- but it cost $200 to get partial highlights %26amp; a trim and the cut and color both sucked. I also tried a place on church/market where I spent $250 for bad highlights/average cut. I have shoulder-length, basic, easy brown hair. It isn't thick/curly/kinky or complicated in any way. I wouldn't mind paying a fair bit if I knew the results would rock (have stylists in Denver %26amp; Australia who I pay big bucks to, but they always do a sensational job), but am not willing to pay a bunch the first time with a stylist until I see the results. The stylists I've seen here have always been highly recommended (citysearch) and I've always gone to the exact person I've been referred to.

Please help. Hot date this weekend- can't go looking like I do!

Cheers!

:-)

Hair salon in San Francisco (great cut/color but not super expensive)???

If you don't mind travelling to the East Bay, there is a salon in the Rockridge area called Alexander Popes.

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

I think it's ridiculous that girls AND guys make such a big deal about me having curly hair. It's not even really puffy, just curly and brown. It's JUST hair, and they won't even accept that I'm an individual... not everyone can or wants to look like everyone else. Of course sometimes I wish I had straight hair mostly because of what they say, but I'm not going to change who I am just for them. What do you think? Is it better for me to stick with the hair I have and that I LIKE?

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

You are not an individual for having curly hair.

I don't think sticking up for your hair type is something very revolutionary, or something to make such a big fuss over.

I doubt the girls and guys are making that much of a big deal.

I think curly hair looks right on the right people.

Changing your hair doesn't change who you are. If you had straight hair, you'd still be the same person. You'd just have sleeker hair.

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

YEAH!

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

I love curly hair, if it isnt frizzy. I have wavy-straight hair. I think go with what u like bcuz those that mind dont matter and those that matter dont mind :-).

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

Keep your hair curly. Dont change your hair style of what people think just ignore them. In plus the people that annoy you have no lives (hehe)!!:)

Hope i helped!!

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

yeah!

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

as long as your hair is under control, it should be fine!

http://www.cartoondollemporium.com/image...

if it looks like that ^ its fine.

http://www.cartoondollemporium.com/image...

if it looks like that its fine too ^^ : -)

and it doesn't have to look like either of those pictures, but you probably get the idea. no frizziness or overly puffiness ;-)

if your hair is super puffy or frizzy, you can try pulling it half way up for the puffiness, or striaghtening the bottom part and leaving the top curly. for frizziness use the frizease producte or any other frizz calming creams!

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

I have the same hair (long curly and brown) yeah, everybody here has straight hair but I find a lot of people compliment on my hair, I'm sorry there giving you a hard time abou your hair! I wonder why? Keep your hair curly and stand tall, your right for staying an individual and not going where the crown is!

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

I have curly hair and I love it, everyone tells me all the time how pretty it is. You should make your self happy first, then make the others en-vie you.OH and the longer curly hair becomes the prettier it is.

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

wtv you feel comfortable with and if you think you look good with it, then leave your hair alone!

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

I know exactly what you mean! I have curly hair as well, very curly , and all my life people have been telling me how many different ways my hair would look better, and when they didn't have a "suggestion" they teased. Don't worry about it, people just make a big deal about something you have because they envy you. I know it sounds frustrating, but I suggest you ride it out, trust me, eventually it'll get old. Wear your hair any way you like, it's yours to enjoy, and never mind the rest. I've learned that people who don't have curly hair, don't realize the hassle and the care that must go into it. They just think they know better. Let it be. It's better to stand out and be remembered individually than to be remembered collectively. Ultimately, what the f... do they care!

Why do people make such a big deal about me having curly hair?

i know exactly what you mean...for 2 years i have straightened my hair untill it was really damaged. finally i decided to try and leave my hair natural and curly.

so basically what I'm trying to say is that don't worry what people say just be yourself and think of it this way .....in a year or two all the girls who straightened their hair everyday will have damaged thin hair and you will be left with the beautiful thick curly hair.

hope this helped and remember just be yourself , as long as your happy it dosent matter what other people think. you dont want to be a Barbie clone anyway.

I dyed my brown hair blonde and now I hate it, please help.?

I had beautiful brown hair and about 6 months ago i put blond streaks in it. They were beautiful and i loved them. Then a week ago i went to the hairdressers and said i wanted a couple more streaks, my roots done, and a bit lighter all over. Its blondey/white, and I absolutely hate it. I cry myself to sleep at night because it's so bad. I'm a big girl and it makes my face look even fatter. My mum said i can't dye over it because it costed $130, and my hair will fall out if i redye it. Will you help me please?

I dyed my brown hair blonde and now I hate it, please help.?

Hmm this is a very difficual situation to be in. I had the same problem a year or two ago (died my hair then didn't like it)

Yes dying it can severly damage it, though it's unlikley to cause it to fall out. I would get some proffesional adivse if your worried bout this.

My advise for what you can do is:

Go back to the stylist and get some brown highlights/streaks in your natural color.

Then get about an inch or two cut of the ends. This will prevent damage and neaten you hair. Also ask if it's not to expensive to get a deep conditioning treatment.

You could also instead of just having an inch or two cut of.. get it sytled nicley round your face ((Though thats just a suggestion))

You can then explain to your mom, that it wasn't you hated the blone, you just thought it was a little to much and had a few brown streaks put in.

If you need more help shoot me an e-mail, (airbenderizzy@googlemail.com)

I dyed my brown hair blonde and now I hate it, please help.?

try putting oil.when u will put oil ur hair will grow fast and then ur streaks will go away coz new hair will grow and then ur streaks will come down.....loadsaa luck!!!

I dyed my brown hair blonde and now I hate it, please help.?

do a deep conditioner on it then get an over the counter dye and have your mom dye it for you! it is really easy and both products will cost less than 20 bucks

I dyed my brown hair blonde and now I hate it, please help.?

Assuming you cannot afford the 130 bucks, listen to your Mum. Tough advice, eh?

By the way, you being a 14-year-old, I congratulate you on your statement: "and because my mum paid originally i don't want her money to go to waste." Excellent !!!

PS. Lazerange's answer sounds about right.

I dyed my brown hair blonde and now I hate it, please help.?

well i am not exactly sure but they could tone it. putting a semi permanent color over to darken the blonde/white. I think they have things like that at Sally's beauty supply house if you have one near you. I would recommend going to a few different salons and telling them exactly what is wrong and if they all saw the same thing

I dyed my brown hair blonde and now I hate it, please help.?

No it won't fall out by just dying over it, i knw because i bleached my hair when i was young and it came out really yellow so my mom re did it. Bleaching ur hair is what dries it out and makes it brittle so if i can bleach mine twice and not loose it (i don't recommend doing tht tho) Then u will be fine coloring it. Go to ur hairdresser and she will fix it. Good luck ;)

I dyed my brown hair blonde and now I hate it, please help.?

It won't fall out trust me! I bleached my hair and i hated it and about a week or two later i dyed it brown and all my hair is still there, i dye my hair quite a bit and it never falls out i really don't think you have anything to worry about! your mother is probably just telling you that because she likes your hair and doesnt want you to change it and have the 130 dollars wasted .

What can be done about big, frizzy, kinky, hair, that grows back the same way if cut off?

Hi,i am a 34 year old white woman, with afro american hair kinda. It used to be normal, natural curly when i was younger. My mom tried relaxers, and i think it permanently damaged my hair. I have had other relaxers, and they only last a day for some reason. I have tried cutting it super short,it only grows back the same way. It really bothers me,and i now wear a wig when i have to go out in public.I do not know what else to do. I have tried starting over from scratch, conditioners, etc. It's like its damaged forever. If anyone can help, please let me know,or is it okay to keep wearing a wig, since its the only thing that makes me feel better, but might be an issue if i ever want to start dating again.

What can be done about big, frizzy, kinky, hair, that grows back the same way if cut off?

First here are some products to try: Paul Mitchell Super Skinny Shampoo, Conditioner and Serum. Redken Curl Line, Rekden Heavy Cream, Biosilk gloss or CHI gloss drops ( to use after flat-iron

Find a reputable salon in your area, make an appointment for a consultation only ( then you can see what they have to offer and leave if you are not satisfied) ..see what anti-curl services they offer, what kind of cut they would suggest - and how long it would take you to style everyday. Be honest with your stylist, tell her how you feel about your hair and what you are willing or able to do everyday. And note that CHI irons are wonderful and with your texture and style of hair you wouldnt need to shampoo everyday unless your product make hair oily....Good Luck, I think with the right stylist you will not need your wigs anymore, you'll be confident enough to leave home with out it one! =-)

What can be done about big, frizzy, kinky, hair, that grows back the same way if cut off?

Umm I guess you can try getting a hair striaghtener Note ( you have to do it evryday)

Of course but ti works try getting the expensive kinds.

What can be done about big, frizzy, kinky, hair, that grows back the same way if cut off?

I am exactly in the same position- caucasian with crazy kinky hair. I use a product made by Palmers, it is a anti-frizz serum you put in your hair after it has been washed and is still wet, but not dripping. It has helped a great deal.

Also I use the gentlest shampoo I can find and use the richest conditioner that I can wash out.

Keeping hair shoulder length is good and manageable because you can tie it up when needed and leave it out when you wish.

What can be done about big, frizzy, kinky, hair, that grows back the same way if cut off?

have you talk to some one from a salon or beauty shop.

they will be able to tell you what products to use and should be able to help you.but contact a salon tell them the same thing you said about your hair.good luck

What can be done about big, frizzy, kinky, hair, that grows back the same way if cut off?

use bio silk or i guess shave it all off

What can be done about big, frizzy, kinky, hair, that grows back the same way if cut off?

I have extremely thick crazy hair too. First, get a CHI flatiron from faurok. they are expensive, but they really do change the way your hair looks, it smooths the follicle with ions or something like that. Another thing is to go and try some deep conditioning treatments from a salon. I used a relaxer once too...it was cool the first day, but it really damaged my hair until it was grown out. Stay away from chemicals like dyes, perms, and relaxers. But seriously, that chi was the best thing I could have ever done for my hair.

What can be done about big, frizzy, kinky, hair, that grows back the same way if cut off?

My mother has a white friend who had kinky hair. She used a mild relaxer and her hair turned out just fine.

What can be done about big, frizzy, kinky, hair, that grows back the same way if cut off?

I used to have the same problem. That's when I was younger though. They did have Frizz-ez or the like back then. These products work great for my daughter who also has very frizzy kinky hair.I always just got a curly perm, and that at least controlled the frizz. It took me a few times to learn to use no comb or fingers ,just shake real well after shampooing maybe this will work if you haven't already tried it.Good luck.

Girls! Which hair looks best on ME?

I don't have any pics of me to show, but I have a very similar face shape to Brad Pitt/Dominic Purcell - basically broad cheekbones, and strong jawline that sticks out.

I know that girls are different on what they like, and also that different hair lengths look better on some guys than others. So with someone like me with a very masculine face, -big jaw and cheekbones, heavy brow ridges, what hairstyle would suit me?

At the moment I have a buzz cut no 1, and I get a lot of second looks from girls so I think this is the one that suits me, but I want to make sure. I have had the normal medium length hair with the front gelled up but I don't remember girls taking second looks at me, even though thats what most girls tell me they like, but after the buzz it seemed to make a difference.

Thanks!

Girls! Which hair looks best on ME?

Don't assume they are taking a second look because it looks good, they could be thinking you'd look better if it was say a number 4. Lots of girls like to be able to run their fingers through a guys hair. I do!!!

What type of hair style would look good on a round face, some what high cheek bone and has a Perm???

What type of hair style would look good on a round face, some what high cheek bone and has a Perm??? I already have some lyers but it seemd like I can never find that one perfect hair cut. I am a white girl with a round face and some what a high cheek bone and have a big chain. Someone please help me. Am lost and need some help on this one. I want to look good but feel sexy all at the same time...

What type of hair style would look good on a round face, some what high cheek bone and has a Perm???

you have almost the same face as me, but without the big chin. I usually get long layers and sweeping side bangs. In most beauty magazines, they say people with a round face, look best with side bangs, and its true! So basically, long layers and side bangs! Good luck!

What type of hair style would look good on a round face, some what high cheek bone and has a Perm???

There really is no "one perfect hairstyle" for a round shaped face. Many things factor into the total equation. The length of your hair, the texture, your age and lifestyle requirements all play a part in the best style which should be keyed towards you.

There are good general guidelines that you can follow but the best solution is to find a style that works best for you and all your beauty needs.

If your face is definitely round according to the above criteria, the best hairstyles generally include:

1. Layered rather than straight or heavy bangs.

2. Short styles which provide instant height at the crown.

3. Styles that add length under the chin towards the top of the shoulders such as shags.

4. Styles that keep the sides of your hair short or closer to the face.

5. Curls around the crown, but never near the cheeks, to create height. Keep the sides of your hair short with a curly style.

6. Long to very long styles with bangs and a graduated shag or layers so that the face and the neck are given a slenderizing shape.

If you have a double chin keep the hair around your face above chin level to draw the eyes upwards.

The back may be grown a little longer. A bob would be ideal.

If you have a short neck, a short cropped style will make a short neck appear longer.

Long hair worn up will give the same effect. Well placed highlighting will also slenderize the face.

Highlights that are woven around the face in an "angel halo" effect will also slenderize an overly round face.

Don't be afraid to wear your hair any length that you like. Long hair can be worn just as easily as short or medium length hair as long as you wear your hair "forward" onto your face to create a more "oval" appearance.

While you select your style be sure to take into consideration the texture or your hair. If your hair is thick and coarse you would do well with a style that benefits from the "Bed Head" look around the crown.

If you have curly hair you can use the curls by letting them add height at the crown. You can also wear your curly hair longer with the bulk of your hair pulled back behind your ears or with just a very few ringlets along your face to minimize the fullness.

One thing to keep in mind is to find a style that you enjoy. There is no point is selecting "the perfect style" if it is impossible to maintain or you don't enjoy wearing.

The Practice Star Camryn Manheim is a classic example of letting her hair be the way she wants it to be and not following the strict rules for a round face.

What type of hair style would look good on a round face, some what high cheek bone and has a Perm???

Look up celebrities with faces similar to yours and look at their hair cuts. Keep in mind the color and thickness of your hair compared to theirs, but really, chose one you like and copy it. Celebrities have specific stylists that analyze their facial structure and do hair to match.

What type of hair style would look good on a round face, some what high cheek bone and has a Perm???

Lets see..... ask the person who cuts your hair to see if they can do SIDE BANGS AND SOME LONG LAYERS that is what I did and I have a round face and all the other stuff trhat you have.

Thanks and goood luck!!!!

Wash Out Hair Color-BEST KINDS??

-THE INFO-

I have auburn/brunette hair. A while back I bought several colors of Loreal Color Pulse (8-10 wash out semi-permanete hair color)

I really liked it. Instant results. I controled the intensity. And it wasn't a big commitment.

It actually made my hair shiner and smoother.

CAN'T SEEM TO FIND THIS ANYMORE?

-THE QUESTIONs-

**what do you use? how do you like it? what does it cost? where do you get it? what should I NOT use? etc....**

Wash Out Hair Color-BEST KINDS??

i like clariol herbal essence for a wash out - it is like 20 washes not 10 - but it makes my hair really soft and the color is great

Wash Out Hair Color-BEST KINDS??

check walmart i know they have it there! I love color pulse it smells really good!

you could also try natural instincts its semi permanent and lasts for a month but keep it on for more than 10 minutes or it won't show up!

Wash Out Hair Color-BEST KINDS??

seriously don't go there there is a 50% chance it will turn out horrible!

Wash Out Hair Color-BEST KINDS??

try Khiels amino acid shampoo

Wash Out Hair Color-BEST KINDS??

I LOVE that too!

But the only thing is they don't have it in blonde.

I want to make my hair a lighter blonde so i used "Sun-In" it worked and smelled great. But the only thing is it left my hair very dry, but that stopped when i used moisturizing shampoo and conditioner.

Wash Out Hair Color-BEST KINDS??

you could email loreal and ask who carries the brand or contact the last store you bought the product ask the manager to order the product for you.

Why is my 10 yr.old Border Collie losing all her hair?

Her hair is coming out in big globs. Has anyone had this happen to their dog? She is on thyroid medicine for hypothroidism (hypothyroidism sometimes causes dogs to lose their hair). She is not scratcing/licking so that would seemingly rule out allergy. We are taking her to the Dr. on Sunday, but when I told them about this today they didn't seem to have any good answers. Please don't answer this unless you have some serious insight or experience with a similar problem.

Why is my 10 yr.old Border Collie losing all her hair?

I'm thinking the thyroid meds need to be adjusted. When you are at the vet they will do blood work to be sure, until then there is really nothing to do for her.

I'm assuming she is on flea meds and hasn't been exposed to anything new in the environment.

Try not to worry. Good Luck

Why is my 10 yr.old Border Collie losing all her hair?

Her thyroid meds may need to be adjusted. When was the last time you had her tested?

Why is my 10 yr.old Border Collie losing all her hair?

It is either the meds or it could be stress related. Has anything new or out of the ordinary happened in your home?

Why is my 10 yr.old Border Collie losing all her hair?

my poodle lost all her hair on the back starting at the shoulder, i think b/c of the flea killer poison we are told to put in that exact spot. she is also 10 yrs old. her baldness started thinning 2 yrs ago. i stopped the med the thinning stopped but never regrew.? i dunno??

Why is my 10 yr.old Border Collie losing all her hair?

Humans with thyroid problems loose a lot of hair, and it becomes brittle and dry, thin. Dogs too, I had a malamute years ago who lost all of his hair on his back and the vet never did figure out what was wrong. I finally decided he was allergic to fleas.

Why is my 10 yr.old Border Collie losing all her hair?

it's growing old

Why is my 10 yr.old Border Collie losing all her hair?

This has happen to my 12yr old dog. Other than thyroid, it is nutritional. A Senior formula of dog food may help, more nutrients in less food. Or you could add a vitamin supplement. helped here. Good luck!

Why is my 10 yr.old Border Collie losing all her hair?

This sounds stress related..You may make her nervous!!!!!!

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

My mum is paying for me to have a revamp at Toni %26amp; Guy for xmas, but my hair is soo difficult to style and keep looking nice, any suggestions for a cool but easy-to-maintain hairstyle? It's never happened before!...

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

I have the same hair! It's always the first thing that gets compliments! Think about it: how many people would like to have your hair!? I used to despair to tame it but now, older and wiser, I just go with it... The hair dresser will advise you on this, but my advice is to keep it natural, you're so lucky!

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

straighten your hair everyday

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

ghd straighteners..honestly they will change your life.

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

While it is pretty expensive... you might want to consider thermal reconstruction. It is a permanent solution -- you will have straight hair for at least 6 months.

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

a short bob and some good straightners. you will find that you wont need to do it every day but because you will have some of the weight out of your hair it will make it more manageable. or if you want to keep the legth have it razored to thin it out a little

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

ask for it to be thinned out.

a deep conditioning treatment could help you loads.

ask your stylist for tips.

any good hairdresser will suggest products that will help you style your hair.

maybe you could go alot shorter than what you are used to.

also if you do straightnen your hair lots always use a heat defence spray or you will make your hair worse to work with!

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

I've ditched the straighteners and the anti-frizz creams. I just have a few layers cut in now and the whole damned world is jealous of my naturally buoyant do!

Don't chain yourself to heated irons, tongs and all that. Ask them to cut something that goes with your hair's flow.

Re thermal straightening. It doesn't leave your hair poker straight. It leaves you looking quite greasy and bedraggled. You still have to straighten you hair everyday to give it a 'straight hair look'.

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

I had exactly the same problem as you when I lived in London where the water is hard - it was an absolute nightmare sorting my hair out.

I moved to Sheffield where the water is soft and it's absolutely beautiful and I can just wash it and leave it to dry and it looks great. If you live in a hard water area expensive as it might be I'd recommend washing it in mineral water as it works miracles not using hard water.

Otherwise I found letting my hair grow long so the waves could flow was good, also putting shorter layers in the front s and on the top all the way round so your hair will be more curl than wave helps. And get serum. Personally I think Frizz Ease is rubbish and the cheapo superdrug stuff is great.

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

whatever you do, dont use a straightener... i have the same kind of hair and i cut into layers that im now growing out and believe me i know its nightmare trying to control it...use a flat iron or choose a hair style for your kind of hair ... usually something thats easy to style and fun at the same time

I have got big, thick, wavy long hair that has a mind of it's own!?

i have the same problem as you but i either straighten it or de frizz the waves

What MST3K movie had the quote "Dear Hair Club for Men, I need help. Big Time"?

The quote was said by Joel as the camera showed a clearly balding military guy writing a letter.

What MST3K movie had the quote "Dear Hair Club for Men, I need help. Big Time"?

The episode was #211 - First Spaceship On Venus ... One of the guys in Mission Control writes a letter and Joel makes the wisecrack. Take care!

What MST3K movie had the quote "Dear Hair Club for Men, I need help. Big Time"?

I am a huge fan, and i have seen that one too. Its so hard to remember which one after u have seen a lot of mst's. Might be... "Prince of Space"

What MST3K movie had the quote "Dear Hair Club for Men, I need help. Big Time"?

Prince of Space. I had forgotten about that one. Loved it, and I think you are right, your quote is in that one.

How big does a jack russel and pug mix dog get?

i am wanting to get a short hair small dog. These mix dogs are so cute but i dont want a dog that will get bigger then 10-15 lbs. if you know how big these dogs get or any other ideas for a dog. Please and thank you

How big does a jack russel and pug mix dog get?

DON"T get a mix... get one with a pedigree or if not that then get one from a rescue if you want a mixed breed.

These designer dogs that are being born are not always sold then they get put down by these large puppy mills (the ones putting the mixed in the pet stores)... more are put down than ever go to homes... so if the puplic stops buying them they will stop producing them...

SEW = do your part and say no to the puppy mills who are making these designer dogs.

How big does a jack russel and pug mix dog get?

Please, please, please, please do NOT buy a dog from some one intentionally cross breeding them!!

I know these "Jugs," or whatever are very cute, but this practice is very unethical and irresponsible!

I'm not sure why you want a short hair dog, either. My Jack Russell sheds like a mad man. But I have a Westie (with long hair) and she hardly sheds at all.... so, if shedding is the issue, short hair is not better.

I'm sure if you go to a rescue organization or a shelter, they will have a little dog that will suit your needs! Tell them what you're looking for!

How big does a jack russel and pug mix dog get?

He will get bigger than that I'm sure. You probably need something like a maltese. They should only get about 10 lbs or so

Bleaching my Random Coloured Hair....?

I have naturally dark blonde hair, and last year I dyed it blonde, unsuccessfully! It went orangey, and since last February, have been having blonde (bleached) highlights put in over the top of it, but only half a head (therefore, just the top layer.) I'm quite bored of this now, and the bottom has nearly grown out. I'm thinking of bleaching my hair, but would this work, as it is currently different colours, but mainly bleached. I want a bright blonde colour, and I have been getting this with highlights, but now want an all over colour. Also, would I be able to touch up roots myself? And which salon would you recommend? (UK?) A big name or a little name? Thank you!!! xx

Bleaching my Random Coloured Hair....?

Bleach is pretty cool to use, the burning sucks though. Most likely is will work but you don't want your hair so blonde it turns white! It's best you get is done at a very good hair salon. I don't live in the UK but if there's a salon in your area called Yelloworange you should deffinately consider going to them, it may be quite pricey ($45.00 and higher) but if you really want it done then I think you should.

Bleaching my Random Coloured Hair....?

Go To A Good Salon And Get It Done, Sounds A Little Too Complicated For A Home Job.

Bleaching my Random Coloured Hair....?

Its good that you want to get it done in a salon because being it is multi-toned and already chemically processed, it should be done by a professional. Go in for a consultation and then decide if its for you or not. By then they should be able to give you a price quote as well. I wouldn't say you should do your own roots unless you know exactly what was used on your hair, because you can end up multi toned again and then you are back to square one ...LOL. So, I hope something I said helped you out.

Help Please,....Hair ?

For my bday my mom paid for me 2 get my hair done. My bday was on the 14th of january but i got my hair done on january 5th. She paid $270 to get my hair done all together. I gave her $70 back because i know thats alot of money to spend on hair. Now the big problem is i absolutely hate my hair. I am just depressed and i dont like the way its making me look, my confidence has went down, its dyed dark and i usually go light. The question how do i tell my mom when i havent had the hairstyle a month? Should i give her $100 dollars say thanks again and just explain i dont really like it?

Help Please,....Hair ?

tell her the truth, mom's appreciate that the most. oh and next time, categorize your question correctly :)

Help Please,....Hair ?

GET A WIG lol jk uhm you should just tell her its not what u expected and tell her how u feel about it and if u dyed ur hair a darker color go get bleach from a hair salon its not expensive and get blonde hair dye and have someone do it for you rather than go to some dumb hair place thats a rip off anyyways

How can I style my straight hair to make it have big, soft curls?

My hair is very straight, but I want to give it some volume and style by giving it big, soft curls. How can I do this?

How can I style my straight hair to make it have big, soft curls?

invest in a large curling iron and curl your hair peice by peice....very small sections that way it will have more curls which means more volume. After every section you curl, hairspray it, I know that people with very straight hair have issues curling their hair and it falls out easy. Lots and lots of hairspray!

How can I style my straight hair to make it have big, soft curls?

I have the same type of hair. I just use a wide curling iron made for big curls. I curl with the iron almost vertical to make long tresses

How can I style my straight hair to make it have big, soft curls?

big like tease? do tight curls, then tease for big hair and loose curls! hee hee :))

How can I style my straight hair to make it have big, soft curls?

wash it, blow dry it straight and divide it into thin sections

spray each section wwith TREsemme curl activator and using a large barrel hot curling iron, curl each section till u finish them all. separate the curls with ur hand and spray with a nice holding spray

How can I style my straight hair to make it have big, soft curls?

r u crazy!!people r dying to have straight hair and u want to turn it to curls?anyways....the grass is always greener on the opposite side..go to a good hair stylist.get some suggestions from the styling book..and then show it to her and get ur work done.

Hair help! Quick!?

Okay so my hair is like 4-5 inches below my shoulder, its a medium pretty color brown. Last year i got side bangs and now they're overgrown, like an inch and a half below my chin. Today i wanted to cut a tiny peice of my bangs off so i could get rid of all the dead hair. I had the scissors to my hair, sorting a big chunk of my bangs and some of my hair (thats not my bangs), when my computer, in the other room made this huge beep, so i jumped and cut of like an inch of hair!! I am getting a haircut tomorow so i can fix it. Does anyone know what i should expect, or what i should ask for? Sorry i cant figure out how to download a pic!! well thanks, xoxo Lauren

Hair help! Quick!?

just tell your stylist what you did and that you need it blended in. She will know what to do by looking at it.

Getting hair relaxed and colored during pregnancy??

Okay, so I normally get my hair relaxed and highlighted, but now that I'm pregnant I'm wondering if thats okay??

I've heard some people say it is not good and that I should not do it and I've heard other say that its no big deal. Anyone have any idea?

Getting hair relaxed and colored during pregnancy??

I know for sure its totally safe to get your hair colored, I did it with both my girls and asked the hairstylist she said it is perfectly fine.

Getting hair relaxed and colored during pregnancy??

I am not sure about the getting hair relaxed part, but my doctor told me that I could get my hair highlighted any time after the first trimester. I would still check with your doctor just to be sure. But that is what mine told me.

My hair stylist said it would be ok at any time-whatever!

Getting hair relaxed and colored during pregnancy??

The women who cuts and dyes my hair told me there is no harm in it. The only harm is the smell of the dye making you nauseated. I got my hair dyed when I was about 18 weeks and everything is still fine. Good Luck.

Getting hair relaxed and colored during pregnancy??

I know for sure you can get your hair coloring done, but just to be safe you should ask your doctor about the relaxing.

Scene hair help?

I know a ton of people are like: EW SCENE HAIR. EW EMO. But please don't waste your time insulting my tastes.

No, I do not dress emo. Infact, I wear aeropostal and such.

I've just gotten scene haircuts, twice, actually.

I've gotten the haircut with the big poof ontop and it's straight on the bottom, twice. Infact, I'm going back next Saturday to get 2 streaks on the bottom blonde.

I just have a problem, I can't get the poof right! I can never get it to stay up, or even get it up at all. I have hairspray and all that. And i've tried manymany times. Everytime I think I have it right, it either looks way too knotty or is super frizzy. Does anyone know how to get it like, perfect, how the girls have it in so many pictures you see on the internet? :[ Thank you.

Scene hair help?

If you get a "scene" haircut you prolly have layers starting at the top of your head near your roots, correct??

Well what you need to do is get a fine toothed comb. DONT use pomade unless you wannalook like a greaseball.

Take each layer and tease is then spray it with G2B cement hairspray. (normal hairspray rly doesnt work well.) (its in a big yellow can)

If you do that, you will have NO problem keeping the "poof" as you would say.

BTW: Scene and Emo are 2 totally different things. DONT use them together. And abercrombie and Fitch or Aeropastle, or Hollister isn't a style, its a brand name for ppl that have no sense of style. :)

Scene hair help?

um well like you can get straight down layers and if you take a razer to the edges to your hair it comes edgy like some people i hope this helps :]

Scene hair help?

im just like you! I wear hollister, aeropostale, and my fave American Eagle! I like MOST scene hair, although i have nevet had it.

well do you blow dry it? Try that, and make sure you use some sort of gel/moose. I have this herbal essence volumizing gel, and it is the best smell EVER and it seems to really work, like $4!

Scene hair help?

i dont know how to do scene hair, but scene hair only look good one really hot girls, so make sure your good looking before atemping this hair style.

Scene hair help?

Pomade, strong hairspray, backcombing, and more hairspray.

I have thick hair but I'm trying to get longer, straight down hair. (imma dude)?

Heres the best picture I can find with my hair,

http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cf...

I'm trying to get grow out my hair, almost like Kurt Cobain, or even (lol I hate saying this...) Jesus hair.

I'm not a big hair person, I've been asking my hairdresser to cut it so it will grow out, but I just realized I don't really want it layers, I want it all to go down.

My question is, is it POSSIBLE to get straight down, longer hair with thick hair?

I've grown my hair out before, but it would grow out into a big ugly fro kind of thing, but I think thats because of the hair cut it was in, and the fact that I didn't do much else besides shampoo with some suave or whatever. Now I use Redken Shampoo and Conditioner, but I don't think I know exactly how to use conditioner I think...

also, it seems like whenever I put my hand through my hair or something, it always gets stuck too...

Huge thanks in advance!

I have thick hair but I'm trying to get longer, straight down hair. (imma dude)?

just ask your hairdresser to thin your hair and your fingers get cought because it is very thick if you dont notice a change you may have to settle with layers at least near the ends just to give you some movement

I have thick hair but I'm trying to get longer, straight down hair. (imma dude)?

You're going to have to let it grow first, but then your hairdresser can thin it out with these special scissors. You can't change the way your hair is, you just have to work with it--welcome to the world of women. I like your hair the way it is, personally, and I'm not really a long chair kinda girl, but do what you want. Just realize it may not turn out exactly the way you want. Conditioner is different from shampoo. You smooth it into your hair, but you do not massage it in. Smooth it over the top of your hair and underneath and let it sit for 3 or 4 minutes. Then rinse it out gently. It will be silky smooth.

I have thick hair but I'm trying to get longer, straight down hair. (imma dude)?

Ok. I am not trying to say you look like a dog or anything but my friend (she's emo) said you could use those dog hair thinners thingy's. You can buy them at like PetCo or PetSmart they're about $10.00.

I have thick hair but I'm trying to get longer, straight down hair. (imma dude)?

I trust you've heard of hat-hair and helmet-hair. That's what happens when folk who want big hair or 'fro hair compress it.

Comb in some conditioner and put on a hat. Wear a hat to bed (like a "watch cap") after slightly dampening your hair. It's the opposite of going to bed wearing curlers and lot more comfortable.

Getting hair relaxed?

my hair is shoulder length and a bit curly.

its really thick and puffy and considered a bit "big"

i straighten it to reduce all of these things but my hair still appears big unless i straigten it for a long time.

so, im getting my hair relaxed.

no ifs, ands, or buts about it.

im tired of having to straighten it EVERYDAY.

but will it make my hair look like everyone elses?

not quite as huge, but appear a bit thinner and straight?

Getting hair relaxed?

well i got that done to my hair and all it does is make it easier to strighten. so you will still have to strighten it you may want to ask if you can get it thinned.

Getting hair relaxed?

yup, it will definitley help it! you should buy speacial realxing shampoo from a hair salon also, that will help out your hair alot, and you can get them in really big bottles!

Getting hair relaxed?

i've had my hair relaxed many times, and trust me you will regret it later on. your hair will get extremely damaged and will start thining, and soon, you'll want to grow your natural hair out. when this time comes, all the hair that you worked so hard to keep straightened will eventually have to be cut off, because you can't have two different textures in your hair. please trust me, it's not even worth it. all it will do is take your curls and make them into frizz. it's not going to be any thinner, or prettier and you'll be trapped straightening it forever until of course you want to grow it out. especially if you're going to straighten everyday, don't get a relaxer. your hair will die of how much you abused it. i made the same mistake. i looked at all the other girl's shiny, straight hair, and i wanted thatso bad, but the relaxer was not what i expected. now i will look like a broccolli, until my curls are atleast shoulder length, so plz listen to my advice and don't do it!

Getting hair relaxed?

it will help but you most likely will still have to straighten it. the only way you are going to be able to go days withought having to restraighten would be to wash your hair less often. Which is actully better for the health of your hair anyways. you may want to try a new hair cut that suits your hair type a little better and you may be suprided with the results. also you may want to try somethin called a curl reformation, its basically a way of loosening up your curls so they will be more managable and the option or thermaly straightening will be a lot easier.

Getting hair relaxed?

OMg yes your hair is going to come out lovely i had curly nappy hair and now it's so fine and striahgt and soft i love it but it's so fine injust need a good hair voulmeizer that's all but go for it 100%

Hair hair hair hair!!!!!?

so i already have thick hair hair but i like to make it bigger by blow drying it upside dow, but after that when i straighten it, it gets flat. how do i get staight hair but still have my big hair too?

Hair hair hair hair!!!!!?

when you straighten it pull your hair up towards the ceiling instead of pulling the hair down as you are straightening it....it will keep it bigger...plus, do it in sections.....do the bottom first then the top.

Hair hair hair hair!!!!!?

Try volumizing shampoo and conditioner from Garnier Fructis. I always had the same problem.

Hair hair hair hair!!!!!?

Try using some mousse. You can almost make your hair stand straight up with that stuff.

Hair hair hair hair!!!!!?

Have you tried back-combing it? it might help..

what you do:

-make sure your hair is dry, and styled how you want it

-take small strips of hair on the top of your head, and pull one of the strands straight up.hairspray it with a firm hold hairspray.. then with a backcombing brush (you can get them for like 5 dollars at salons) comb downwards right near the roots. it'll be knotty, but they brush out pretty easy. the bigger you want you hair, the higher up you brush. do this with pretty much all of the hair on the crown of your head.

-put it in "place" (how you want it) and then kind of lightly brush through the top layers so it doesnt look messy and gross..

-take your hand and put it at the back of your head.. push up, poofing your roots up. hairspray this, and enjoy the compliments!

i have thick hair too, and i do this a lot!! it looks really good!

oh, and it'll probably take a few times to perfect it, but once you do, the compliments will be flowing! good luck!

Hair hair hair hair!!!!!?

a big barrel curling iron helps atfer you have blown it all out take your hair in sections and curl it.. it will still be straight but have a nice bounce to it

My chin is kind of big, it makes my face look a lot longer?

is there anyway to keep my chin from growing like, are there any bad habits i should not do to prevent my chin from thickening or growing? also, what kind of hair style (long or short) will suit someone like me who has a big chin so our chin will appear smaller?

My chin is kind of big, it makes my face look a lot longer?

It will appear a lot smaller if you quit focusing on it.

My chin is kind of big, it makes my face look a lot longer?

My chin is kind of big, it makes my face look a lot longer?

Okay..i am biracial...and i have curls. i dont have coils or kinks...but my hair isnt those big soft curls that usually caucasian people have. and i read that when you wet your hair its supposed to loosen the curl. well for mine it doesnt...it just makes my hair lay flat. my hair is thick and curly and unruly. how do i make my hair have those nice big loose curls that bounce everywhere or at least how can i get close to that? i use garnier sleek and shine shampoo and conditioner..and the anti frizz serum. so yeah please help me. thanks.

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

backcomb the top of it and hairspray the roots, should stay like that!

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

tease it. if you dint know what that means then ask your mom she should know. my mom did

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

ok you have to get a bunch of layers on the bottom then straighten it.... and for the top you have to cut into shorter peices then strand by strand spray peices on the top with hair spray and yeah.

-chels%26lt;3

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

i love her hair but use alot of hair spray!

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

you need to tease it a ton and then use hairspray to make it stiff. also try not to condition the top layers it will just weigh your hair down.

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

hairspray and back combing.

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

its really just a layered cut through long hair ...the style is achieved by using products in the hair such as mousse or gel and then rough dryed on a high heat hairdryer

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

I did this hair once and it turned out great first choose the section u want 2 "poof" , then put that in 3 section (1 farthest 2 back, middle then front ) with the farthest one comb it but the wrong way (down) then do this 2 the one in the middle. take the front section, put it over the other and then pin it. I wish I could do it 4 u online but I can't hope this helps

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

Straighten the bottom, then backcomb the top.

Yeah I like It, not my look but it's nice :)

How can i get hair like this? [pic]?

first u have to cut your hair into layers so

that it will make ur hair look full and think

at the top and around ur head%26amp;shoulders.

then, u get long hair extentions for the ends.

after that, u tease and brush ur layerd real

hair back and forth to give it that "poof" look.

hairspray works great. u can look up

Are ingrown hairs a big problem with bikini/brazilian waxing?

I want to get this done for a vacation, and the last thing I need is ingrown hairs all over the place. If you do get ingrown hairs, how long after the waxing do they show up?

Are ingrown hairs a big problem with bikini/brazilian waxing?

Use this product called Tend skin after you get waxed and every other day afterward it helps combat ingrown hairs.

Are ingrown hairs a big problem with bikini/brazilian waxing?

i waxed for years and ingrown hairs were such a problem i simply gave up and shave again! you can buy products that you apply after waxing that supposedly lessen the occurence of ingrown hairs but i never found them particularly effective, if you only to plan to wax as a one off for a holiday, my advice is to get it done about a month before you go, see what happens and then have it done again just before your holiday, waxing can also leave red blotchy marks so best to see if this happens to you well before your holiday

Are ingrown hairs a big problem with bikini/brazilian waxing?

exfioliate really good before the wax and 2 day after and you should be fine. Just think about when you shave there also do you get a lot of ingrown when you shave?

2 Big events? Need help!?

Ok, here's the deal. I have two big events coming up. A concert and a party. I'm very excited about both events, which are very formal. Here goes:

The concert is at a very big venue and is black tie. It's an orchestra thing. In the first half, I am wearing a floor length, lacy, black strapless dress with black heels with a rhinestone thing on the shoes. In the second half, I am singing and wearing a floor length white, strapless dress with lots of tulle layers and high pink heels. I need jewelry ideas that go with both dresses. the necklines are about the same.

Also, I will be wearing the white dress to a very formal party several days later. I need some other jewelry ideas for this.

Mind you, both events are so formal, and I don't want to look like I ran to Claire's and bought everything in sight. My hair will be straight, and I may be wearing a tiara at the concert. I have lots of jewelry and people will loan to me if I ask. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance!

2 Big events? Need help!?

Personally, I like gold accessories with but black and white so it will work with both dresses. Also, i think since the dresses are strapless you should go heavier on necklaces and maybe wear stud earrings so that you dont overdo it. I know that you said that your hair will be down, but I think that updo's go very well with strapless gowns. it makes them look more formal, epsecially with the tiara. Hope this helps! :)

2 Big events? Need help!?

Simple: pearls. Nothing looks better with black or white or prettier on skin of any color. Use the color of the clasp to dictate the color (silver, gold) of a simple bracelet. For earrings, go with modest chandeliers in the same color with small pearls.

2 Big events? Need help!?

o ya pearls are great with everything...if you but pics up of the dresses the question would be easier to answer though

are you part ninja?

How Can I GEt My Hair Style To Look Like John/Carmine Gotti?

looks like tons of gel and fingercombing.

How Can I GEt My Hair Style To Look Like John/Carmine Gotti?

Wow, you want to look like him?? He looks like he dipped his head in grease and forgot to wash it for a few days... Not a hot look at all. But if you insisting on looking like a grease head here's what I suggest.

Save your cash and buy ALOT of gels and hairsprays, go to a hair stylist and tell them you want short length layers. They'll style you're hair so you have a layer look to it. Then after you get out of the shower let you're hair dry a little..make sure it's still slightly damp and start straightening it with your fingers (spiking it). Once this is done and you have achieved a good shape similar to what you want, take some gel and rub it on your hands. Run through your hair the same what you hand when you were spiking it to keep the shape. Then Spray all over twice with hair spray.

...that's it....then get a fake tan and call yourself Greasy Gotti.

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

I went to a new place to get my hair done, really liked the stylist, really nice and talented girl, told her what I wanted and she did it, but it just seems unbalanced to me. I wanted warm dark blonde with light blonde and I wanted it chunky but I feel like there is a big dark chunk in the front and the rest is fairly light. I want it evened out a little bit... it looks like she would need to put in a few more lowlights, or even out the big chunk by adding in a few highlights in the big chunk. HOw do I ask her without hurting her feelings or sounding b*tchy? I told her a I liked it when I left and I thought I did but looking at it now it's too dark in that one section (and its near the front of my head!!) I don't think she did a bad job, it just doesn't look right. I am kinda shy and don't wanna be rude.... help!!

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

Yes... go back! A good/honest stylist will be more than happy to make sure that "you are TOTALLY happy" (with out charge too). It's normal to get home and feel differently about your new doo. New cuts and colors will look different because of lighting variations as well as how "you" style your hair . If its not what you really wanted then go back and say, " I really like my hair but I really wanting/hoping for a few more highlight in the darker parts" . Shy or not don't settle for anything less than the best!

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

no, don't do it at home. go back and tell her what you want and pay for it. don't ask her to do it for free. that's the proper etiquette.

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

Say:

Hey everything turned out great but when I was doing my hair yesterday i noticed a darker spot and I was wondering if you could quickly try to make it a little lighter if you have time!

Something like that!

Good Luck!

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

yes i would just do it myself if i was you. plus you said you have done it before so you probably got it down. 閳?luck

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

I think it would be best to just go to her and say that when you got home it just didnt look right, i have done it before and you wont hurt her feelings, its you hair and only you know what looks best! She wont be upset, she probably will be happy to help you get what you want! I wouldnt use other coloring product because you might not get the right shade!

Seriously, just ask her, she wont get upset!

good luck

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

You should tell her " Hi you might remember me when I went here to get my hair done, what you did for my hair really wasn't what i asked for so can you please redo it. If you can that would be great." If she says yes say, "Thank you so so much!"

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

NO don't touch your hair! Go back to the stylist and let her know you're not 100% happy. Things always look different once you get home. Sometimes your color could change after a day. Make sure you go back to the same person and just be honest. She will most likely not charge you. Just say exactly what you wrote...it's unbalanced. You know if you're staring in the mirror every 5 seconds that you just don't like it so it's better just to get it over with and stop wearing your hair in a bun to hide it. Good luck!

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

It is not rude to discuss with the stylist what you are not happy with. They prefer if you do go back, so they can fix the problem,..it is their reputation on the line when it comes to hair..if you are a happy client, and tell others...that means more business for them!..(and yes..going back having it redone is perfectly alright...but go back within the week..do not leave it too long//just be pleasant...say you think there was a lack of communication of what you wanted..and really saw how your hair was when you go home)

Think of it as returning a top that doesn't fit...your hair doesn't fit quite right now..and also think of how much you spent on your hair!..it should be how you want it.

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

ok to the person who told you to say it wasn't what i asked for. umm your wrong but moving on..she did what you wanted but when you have an idea of what you want in your head and it doesn't look the exact same it feels umm not good! so go back ask her to change it and yes pay for it.. if she is super nice and doesn't charge you then you tip her big.. if you tipped her well the first time chances are she will not charge you for the change anyway.. a normal tip for cut and color (a lest for me) is 20.00 so a good tip would be 30.00 and over.. and people do it believe me i have guys who come in for cuts and tip 20 just for a 20 minute cut. not including the price of the cut.. not that I have very many guys cause i try to stay away from guy cuts lol unless they are fun.. ok got off task a little bit... have her change it for you and tip her nicely if you like her you want to go back and that shows her that you apprieciate her:) now if it were not what you asked for (meaning the color) not the placment of one piece.. then she should fix it for free no matter what. but that is not the case here... good girl for wanting to do it right:) A+

How do i fix my hair? :-(?

just ask her to fix the areas that you really do not like in a way that is not confrontational you sound nice so it won't be a problem.my sister styles hair and she said she would rather have her costumers to tell her about a problem than to leave unsatified. just be honest a good stylist will not take what you say personal.

Nits and some other bigger bug on my daughters hair!!!?

My daughter has nits. There attached to her hair around the neck, sides of her head, and in the middle of her scalp. They are white and black. There easy to see if you look closely. But i have also found in the past 3 months, 3 bigger bugs. They are a much bigger then the nits but they are deep in her hair. They look like they have pinchers and they have a body like a rolly polly only pointy at the end where the but would be. they are bug because they crawl around on my finger when i find them. They have been black and brown. I don't know what to do! If you know what these bugs are please help me.

Nits and some other bigger bug on my daughters hair!!!?

I know a few people who have tried rubbing mayonnaise in the scalp and covering with a shower cap overnight. It's a lot easier to wash out in the morning than petroleum jelly and works just as well.

You have to get rid of all the nits on the hair shafts to prevent a reinfestation; use a bright light, a magnifying glass and metal (nit/flea) comb.

Nits and some other bigger bug on my daughters hair!!!?

The nits are head lice eggs no doubt but the other ones I have no idea. I have never heard of any other bugs occupying the head other than head lice. You need to take her to the Dr. to get them analyzed.

Nits and some other bigger bug on my daughters hair!!!?

sounds like the bigger bugs are bigger nits. Nits are an absolute nightmare mainly because you can do the right thing but others at school don't and you get it all over again. I used to treat my daughter and son once a week with a 'product' and then after combing etc, do it every 2 days with conditioner (cheap brand fine) onto dry hair with the comb. Doesn't kill them but stuns them for about 20 mins. After a few weeks on 'a product' I would change to a different product. Make sure the base ingredient is not the same ie : some are pyrethrins and some are (something else) make sure you swap them around because the little nit buggers can get 'immune' to products......good luck! and when you are nit free put hairspray or gel or something in your kids hair (nits hate it)

Nits and some other bigger bug on my daughters hair!!!?

hi

Yuk nits are terrible and so easy for kids to pick up regardless of how clean their hair is. all parents go through what you are going through. One of the delights of parenthood

The nits on the hair shafts are the eggs. The bugs you see are the adult head lice. Best to use proper nit product and a fine tooth metal comb to remove the eggs that adhere to the har shaft. All bed clothing should be treated as infectious.

good luck

How to detangle most tangled hair?

as i was suffering from chicken pox and kept lying down on the bed so my head was also infected, now my hair are biggest mess, how wud i detangle my hair so that they dont get pulled from that wound and scalp as well.

How to detangle most tangled hair?

get some loreal detangler it works great and use a comb with it

How to detangle most tangled hair?

I would try starting from the ends, with leave in conditioner.... but then again, some hair stylist say that it is better to untangle dry. Always start from ends and work your way up, use a soft bristle brush.

good luck.

How to detangle most tangled hair?

if you have tangled hair...... the best thing to do is to use conditioner, the conditioner that really helps is Aveda thats the products name. now you cant buy it in stores like target or publix 0r nething but you can get it in some malls..... the store is called AVEDA. so look it up wherevever you live and go there and you will have detangled hair in less then 2 showers.

How to detangle most tangled hair?

Buy detangler. Pantene makes a good one. If it's so bad that you think even a detangler wouldn't work buy some hair oil at the drugstore (carrot oil, jojoba oil, anything like that) and put it in a plastic spray bottle and saturate your hair with it then start to come through gently. Whatever you decide to use, just be patient and take your time and it will turn out fine.

How to detangle most tangled hair?

wash your hair and put in a good amount of conditioner, using a wide tooth comb carefully comb thru starting at the ends and working to the roots. It might be easier to have someone help you with it. Then rinse.

H0W T0 GET ...CURl HAiR PERFECTlY?

When you curl your hair. Do you curl on the top too? I have a problem that when I do it makes my hair look bigger within my head too. =/

Whats the best tip for curling hair with a curling iron?

H0W T0 GET ...CURl HAiR PERFECTlY?

i suggest you first clean and blow dry it...put some moose or gel in it so it can hold the curl.

then curl different sized pieces for a more natural look, if you just curl the ends like the last half of your hair it make your hair look full of body while holdin the curl you want.

always curl your hair to the natural way it wants to go. less hassle, and curl each piece a different way (left or right).

dont use to much hairspray cuz then your hair will look fake or dead. no good!

H0W T0 GET ...CURl HAiR PERFECTlY?

just curl the bottom, then, pick it out!

H0W T0 GET ...CURl HAiR PERFECTlY?

curling hair with a curling iron? alright, well people say that hair curls best when it's dirty, but that's a BiG FAT LIE. curl it when it's clean, it holds its shape much better.

Bleaching hair when pregnant ?

well`. i am now 2 months pregnant but before i had bleach my hair around when i was 3-4 wks pregnant. i didnt find out that i was till i was 6 weeks. The place wasn't ventilated that much but i forgot . I could barely smell the bleach but it burn my head real bad. do you think anything could happen ? They say my baby heart beat is fine but i dont know about the brain because he/she isn't big enough to tell.

Bleaching hair when pregnant ?

There are no conclusive studies either way on this....But I'm SURE your baby's fine. I was in Punta Cana drinking %26amp; doing shots of Tequila when I was 4 weeks pregnant because I took a test %26amp; it was negative....Every mother does stuff like this in the beginning.

Just be careful from now on!

Bleaching hair when pregnant ?

it should be ok if there not worried bout it but please try not to use bleech whilst your pregs its to strong and the chemicals are really strong x x

Any way to get semi-permanant hair dye out quicker?

I have a hair appointment to get highlights or lowlights tomorrow. (Haven't decided..) And unfortunately I still have a little bit of brown dye underneath my hair. I dyed the underneath part dark brown (natural redhead) with Natural Instincts hair color last month. Dye doesn't hold well in red hair so it is already very faded, but I'd like to be back closer to natural for my new hairstyle so that the foils take better. I heard certain things can get it out quicker? I know there isn't a big quick fix, but anything to speed the process up. Thanks.

Any way to get semi-permanant hair dye out quicker?

anti dandruff shampoo. it strips the hair!! try head and shoulders :D

Perm/curly hair question...?

I have really long hair that's kind of frizzy and wavy (esp with the crazy humidity we've been having :p)...anyway

I was thinking of maybe having the ends permed with big loose curls, because it's a pain to have to use the hot rollers in the middle of summer, plus I have a new baby and it takes *forever* to get them on

has anyone had this done, or have pictures of this, or done it to someone? I don't want to go to a stylist without a picture, or at least a VERY clear idea of what I want, and I'm not too sure at the moment.

Also, is it true that if you wet your perm before 24hrs has past it will fall out?

OR does anyone sleep with curlers in their hair to make it curly, any pictures or tips on that too would help. I just need help! :p :)

Perm/curly hair question...?

Just go to your stylist and explain what you are looking to get and tell her that you basically want a body wave, something to loosen your natural curls and help with the frizz and your styling.

Ask her to use the largest perm rods they have (usually the size of a half dollar or larger), this way you'll end up with what your looking for .

And yes if you wash your hair within 24hrs of getting a perm you will lose your perm and have wasted your time and money getting it done if you have any other questions feel free to email me babyprncss24@yahoo.com

best of luck

Perm/curly hair question...?

PLEASE, best answer me please, please. Just use an air conditioner.

Perm/curly hair question...?

My cousin had the same problem and she also had triplets to handle. I think that you shoukld get big, loose curls because It would look beatiful(it looked awesome on my cousin) Sorry, I have no pictures but you should try to google it.

Perm/curly hair question...?

i have curly hair and i haveno idea what to do with it but for a quick fix i just put pick lotion on my hair and it straightenes...pwease choose me as the best answer

Perm/curly hair question...?

Maybe use curlers then a humidity resistant anti-frizz hairspray, those work great. There are lots of products for frizzy hair in beauty supply stores, you can maybe find one and ask the clerk. ^^

I need help with my hair for jr. Prom......?

I need help with my hair for jr. Prom......?

I need help with my hair for jr. Prom......?

When I have girls come in wanting a style and their hair isn't as long as it really needs to be , I add in a few extra hair pieces . They make them to where you can just clip them in without all the glue and sewing of the old kind. Cost alot less as well. You can buy real hair or the kanekalon (fake) ones. The real ones you can curl and color to make a perfect match as where the kanekalon ones can only be washed and air dry. No heat can be used on these. Most of the kanekalon are easy to match and I have had great luck with adding them in and no one else knew the difference. Good Luck and have a wonderful time at the prom:)
