i have LONG hair, down to my butt. and iv been thinking about cutting alittle shorter with layers and bangs but im sooo scared, my hair is my security blanket. iv seen ways to see what youd look like if you wanted to cut it short but cant find a way to see what id look like, i need help! this is a big decision for me!

I know excatly how you feel! I have a hair cut on wednesday and i wouldn't say i have really long hair but its pretty long. I'm thinking about having it cut a to my shoulders and that will be a big difference.

IF you don't try anything knew you'll always be wondering, but sometimes its so hard to take a big first step. What i would say is have about 3-5 inches cut off then if you realise you just can't live without your long hair, stop. But if you think after you could go a little shorter, have a little bit more cut off. Take it slowbecause you don't have to have it all cut off at once, there is no rush.

After all your hair is your hair and i'm sure you know, it takes LONGGGGGGGGG time to grow if someone messes it up, or you make a wrong desicion.

if i were you i would cut it into layers first and if you like it shorter then i would go for the bangs. i have seen so many girls do what you are talking about and they always dislike the bangs. so if you cut the layers into it first and you are still wanting bangs get them done in a week or two, that way it is not so drastic. your hair will look so healty and fresh with layers, i hope you like it!

That is so wierd! I got that exact cut and had looonnnnggg hair! My cut came out fine, and all you have to do is cut your bangs a little past your eyebrows and ask your stylist to make long layers. She won't cut your layers past your shoulders if you ask for long layers.

Go to a hair salon that has computer images with both long,short,dyed usually you can get 6 pictures at a time. Best to call around 1st to see who has this. I had long hair just before butt too, after the pictures of short hair that did it for me so I had it cut shoulder length %26amp; donated the other half for cancer wigs( real hair wigs). But I'll never go short-short ( hair that LQQKs like long hair guy) that would'nt be me. I had the computer image done in Bloonington,Minnesota. Good luck! :0)

I have Long, think, wavy, red hair. No bangs. I am going to donate my long locks to Locks of Love. But I need help finding a new look for me. I am short, i have a round have and people refer to my skin tone as that of Casper's (yes the friendly ghost) I have a big forehead and i just need help. Never have i been able to pick the right look for me. My boyfriend is sad to say goodbye to the long locks (he loves them a lot) but with summer coming and with the constant work this hair needs i need it gone. please someone help me! I just want something new. I have never had my hair cut to my "style" always been long and trimmed up. but now i need help. If your hair is thick, you may want to have your stylist cut a few layers out; I know that sounds weird, but I had it done to my really thick hair. It used to be flat on the top of my head and go outwards as it got to the tips of my hair (kind of like the shape of a christmas tree) but then when the layers were cut out, my hair had a much nicer shape to it (straight down, like it should be). Also, since you have a round face shape, its often a good idea to keep your hair below the shoulders to elongate your face. Also, layers work well with a round face too, and you could do long, swept to the side bangs that fade into the layers (they'd come down to your nose or even a little longer, so they're not your regular bangs). I know you said no bangs though, so maybe not, but side-swept bangs would most likely look good on you with the layers and your larger forehead.

Put some baking soda on it, in the shower. The baking soda will become pasty. Apply this, and massage it through your hair. Wash it out, and wash your hair normaly.. It should help. :]

Well I don't think it is fried as much as very dry. Start by using products that are intended to be used with a flat iron. I like matrix Sleek. You should also invest in 2 other products..

1. A leave-in conditioner. This will help protect the hair from the blow dryer but not the flat iron.

2.. A silicone based iron smoother. Again I like the Matrix Sleek Sealing Serum. This products protects your hair from the heat of the iron. helps the iron to glide easily through the hair and locks out humidity.

If you mean fried, as in burned. I would go to the hair dresser. If that doesn't work out then wear a hat that covers most of your head. During school, put it in a hairstyle that is normal and wear nice, colorfull shiney jeans. Every body will be more interested in your jeans then your hair.

u cant reverse it but u can treat it with fortifying shampoo and a good deep conditioning treatment every few weeks until it grows long enough for u to chop off. as for ur flat ironing, u REALLY need to put something on before and after u flatiron. i would recommend all of matrix's sleek line especially their Iron Smoother that protects your hair up to 450degrees.

cool down your streightener To test the temp of your streightener place a tissue paper between it for the count of 5 and if it smokes the temp is way too high. next use a hair mask from your local salon Elither Paul Mitchell product or one that they recomend. I personally like the "Locks of Love" foundation, you donate it to kids with cancer who need wigs. You need a ten inch pony tail to have enough for them though. Any salon that I have worked at sent it in for the person who donated it. You are doing a beautiful thing and you will make someones day better. theyre usually like 3 or 4 for a dollar and come in every color you can think of and just sit in a big bin for you to dig through....they arent like the goody ponytail holders you get from regular drugstores...

Here it is, I'm 19 and my hair line is beginning to rise to where it is noticable. I've always had the same hair cut, kinda medium length. hello 16 female here and needs help. i have been shaving my pubic hair since forever and so its not my first time lol. I just want to have a nice clean smooth shave. i use a regular razor, gilliet fusion (males razor) and shaving gel. It help to make it smooth at times, but big sure of the time i have problems with razor burn and the itchyness when it starts to grow back! i am shaving every other day. I have tried the hot water method but like that didn't worked. I have concered waxing, but i couldn't get it done professally because everyone knows everyone in my small town. Would it be alright if i were to do waxing on my own at my house for the first time? Please any advice for a nice clean smooth shave with out the razor burn and the itchyness. Waxing yourself can be difficult, if you are going to keep yourself totally free of pubic hair, as a result you might want to go to a salon that offers bikini wax, or ask a girlfriend to help you, when i was 16 I kept my pubes trimmed, but today most women prefer to be clean shaven. if you do go for a wax, make sure you have a bit of hair, to lessen the pain of the hair being pulled, the hair on your pubic bone is ok, but the hair near or vagina will hurt like hell, if it is waxed with little to grab at.

I've done the shaving route and always get the itching and bumps -it's very uncomfortable. I tried the home waxing route one time. I used "Nad's" brand - wasn't supposed to hurt - yeah, right!!! My damn hair gets like biggish when it dries. I mean like, It doesn't get curly or anything it just kinda gets poofy.

Is there something that I can put in my hair like a shampoo or something that can make it like flatter, like when it is wet it is flat and I like it like that but the big is just crap.

I have kind of like a square-ish head (an ugly one XD) and if my hair is flatter then I look less square.

Yeah, a straightener will work for you, but don't go out buying those cheap metal ones, as they only damage your hair and don't look as good afterwards, if the one you mom has is a ceramic one, go ahead and use it, it's simple, just divide in about 4 parts of hair and clip them so they stay apart. Straighten only a small portion of hair at a time, to make sure all of it is straight. It's really easy just brush the hair and put it between the 2 things of the straightener (whichs name Idk) , close %26amp; slide, if it still looks curly do it again... when you're done you will look emo-ish, the way you like it

Just straight barrettes, I guess, with decoration. They're all about 2-4" long. The question is-- what besides taking a top layer of hair and clipping it in the back-- can I do with them? He said I was ashamed of who I am but I am tired of having big hair. I just want to straighten it for special occasions.
