I dyed my brown hair blonde and now I hate it, please help.?

I had beautiful brown hair and about 6 months ago i put blond streaks in it. They were beautiful and i loved them. Then a week ago i went to the hairdressers and said i wanted a couple more streaks, my roots done, and a bit lighter all over. Its blondey/white, and I absolutely hate it. I cry myself to sleep at night because it's so bad. I'm a big girl and it makes my face look even fatter. My mum said i can't dye over it because it costed $130, and my hair will fall out if i redye it. Will you help me please?

Hmm this is a very difficual situation to be in. I had the same problem a year or two ago (died my hair then didn't like it)

Yes dying it can severly damage it, though it's unlikley to cause it to fall out. I would get some proffesional adivse if your worried bout this.

My advise for what you can do is:

Go back to the stylist and get some brown highlights/streaks in your natural color.

Then get about an inch or two cut of the ends. This will prevent damage and neaten you hair. Also ask if it's not to expensive to get a deep conditioning treatment.

You could also instead of just having an inch or two cut of.. get it sytled nicley round your face ((Though thats just a suggestion))

You can then explain to your mom, that it wasn't you hated the blone, you just thought it was a little to much and had a few brown streaks put in.

try putting oil.when u will put oil ur hair will grow fast and then ur streaks will go away coz new hair will grow and then ur streaks will come down.....loadsaa luck!!!

do a deep conditioner on it then get an over the counter dye and have your mom dye it for you! it is really easy and both products will cost less than 20 bucks

Assuming you cannot afford the 130 bucks, listen to your Mum. Tough advice, eh?

well i am not exactly sure but they could tone it. putting a semi permanent color over to darken the blonde/white. I think they have things like that at Sally's beauty supply house if you have one near you. I would recommend going to a few different salons and telling them exactly what is wrong and if they all saw the same thing

No it won't fall out by just dying over it, i knw because i bleached my hair when i was young and it came out really yellow so my mom re did it. Bleaching ur hair is what dries it out and makes it brittle so if i can bleach mine twice and not loose it (i don't recommend doing tht tho) Then u will be fine coloring it. Go to ur hairdresser and she will fix it. Good luck ;)

It won't fall out trust me! I bleached my hair and i hated it and about a week or two later i dyed it brown and all my hair is still there, i dye my hair quite a bit and it never falls out i really don't think you have anything to worry about! your mother is probably just telling you that because she likes your hair and doesnt want you to change it and have the 130 dollars wasted .
