i have hair up to my shoulder and was wondering how can i ask my mum for blonde tips?

i asked ages ago for a side fringe she said yes then but later i said i was getting it and she said no, then another time she said fine (but she also said i can ruin my own hair which ment she was unhappy with it)

but i am now getting a side fringe and would like to know how to ask my mum for tips without getting her angry and saying no to all

all my friends got laers but i am not allowed that and my friends have side fringe and tips 2 if i compare they have it then its a big no, she wont let me get it if i compare her 2 other parents

My mum is similar when it comes to colouring my hair.

I would get the side fringe first - that way she cant say no all together. Then for your next hair cut try and ask for what you want.

I tried telling mum that when i have kids i will let them get highlights, i tried saying that its only hair colour its no big deal and she said theres plenty of time in life so i said lifes short.

Well, just because your friends have tips and layers doesn't mean you need to have it.

I wouldn't suggest tips- they don't look good. When your friends look back on their pictures from now in 5 years, they are going to be like... OMG what was i doing.

As for the side fringe, since she said yes now- just get that done... if you still want to ask for more, do it a little later, after she has gotten use to the side fringe and so that she can't take saying yes back.

tell your mum that layers would make your hair look more interesting and unique also tell your mum that if you dont like your side fringe (or she doesnt ) that you can just clip it back.
