What can I do with my hair to make it look like a boy's? (For a play)?

I was cast as a boy in a play set in the mid 1800's. ("Big River", a musical based on Huck Finn. I play a friend of Tom %26amp; Huck's)

My hair is about an inch or 2 above my shoulders, brown, and slightly curly. What are some things I could do with my hair to make it look like a boy's without cutting it. Thanks so much!

I have exactly the same problem (i'm at an all girls school!)

if possible wear a hat

gel it back

straighten it then gel it back

put it in a bun (I know it's girly but i'm guessing it will be hard to completely disguise the fact that you are a girl, I nice simple style means the audience can focus on your wonderful acting ability!)

mess it up and add the odd leaf, not sure if your supposed to be tidy so it may work

gel it back then add a 1940's school boy style parting

have fun experimenting and break a leg!

you could tuck it up under a hat.

Take and put gel on it, smooth it back and flat iron the ends so they won't be curly. Trust me i had the same problem!

Slick it back, maybe a ponytail that you can hide. Or Cornrows could give the effect of short hair.
